Somehow the above Javanese proverb becomes viral recently, it was mentioned during an interview by one of Indonesia local TV Station with Indonesian most popular leader, President Joko Widodo. “Lamun Siro Sekti, Ojo Mateni” which literally means: despite having power, one must not harm others. The most talked-about Javanese proverb is very well-suited with the Kali Majapahit martial arts philosophy.
